What was once guidance is now enforcement - the countdown has begun. The new set of binding deadlines are due within the next 12 months.
The industry has long worked toward the main KKDIK registration deadlines (December 2026, 2028 and 2030). But now, with the recently published P&P, the clock is ticking. There are new legally binding deadlines that apply, regardless of tonnage band:
One of the most striking surprises in the P&P: If the Lead Dossier isn’t submitted by 31.03.2026, Provisional Registration becomes mandatory to all tonnages and roles:
