opesus EPN Version 5.4

The latest version of our product notification solution, version 5.4, is now available! This release focuses on improving robustness, configuration flexibility, and support for current regulatory requirements. It includes updated mappings for new hazard classes, an additional field to support Swiss BAG notifications, and new environment parameters that give you more control over logging and authorization behavior. Together, these enhancements are designed to streamline your notification processes, reduce manual effort, and help ensure that your submissions remain aligned with the latest regulatory expectations.

General

  • A new environment parameter is now available to steer if application logs should be kept until the expiration date. This means that it would not be possible to delete application logs before the expiration date is reached.
  • In process automation, authorization checks are now introduced for event registration activities. An environment parameter is now available to allow for additional authorization checks for process automation.

For Poison Center Notifications

  • Add exemption mapping for new hazard classes without a hazard statement and pictogram.
  • Enhanced configuration options are now available to read characteristic descriptions.
  • As fall back, missing characteristic descriptions for in the toxicological can now be read from phrases.

For C&L Inventory

  • Add exemption mapping for new hazard classes without a hazard statement and pictogram.
  • Additionally, we added the reason for classification mapping for new hazard classes PBT/vPvB and PMT/vPvM

For Swiss BAG Notifications

  • A new field is available to indicate if a component is listed on safety data sheet. This was introduced with the Swiss BAG RPC version 4.12.
