We are happy to announce that the latest version of opesus EHS Product Notification (EPN), version 5.3, is now available! With this release the support for the new CLP hazard classes introduced in 2023 is now extended to customers using 3E Ariel content for PCN notifications and 3E SERC content for BAG notifications. Further, this latest EPN release supports hazard class combinations PBT/vPvB and PMT/vPvM for C&L and PCN notifications as per the latest IUCLID 6.9 release.

EPN for Swiss BAG Notifications

The Swiss authorities updated the Chemicals Product Register (RPC) portal to support new hazard classes beginning of 2025. With this release we provide the required mapping for 3E SERC content for the new hazard classes:

  • endocrine disruption for human health (ED HH)
  • endocrine disruption for the environment (ED ENV)
  • persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT)
  • very persistent, very bioaccumulative (vPvB)
  • persistent, mobile, toxic (PMT)
  • very persistent, very mobile (vPvM).

EPN for EU C&L Inventory Notifications

The format was updated to C&L version 4.0 to support the new IUCLID hazard class combinations PBT/vPvB and PMT/vPvM.

EPN for EU PCN Notifications

The format was updated to PCN version 7.0 to support hazard class combinations PBT/vPvB and PMT/vPvM and the new update reasons change in contact details, change in packaging details, change in product category, and change in classification of components.

Further, we provide the required mapping for 3E Ariel content for the new hazard classes:

  • endocrine disruption for human health (ED HH)
  • endocrine disruption for the environment (ED ENV)
  • persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT)
  • very persistent, very bioaccumulative (vPvB)
  • persistent, mobile, toxic (PMT)
  • very persistent, very mobile (vPvM). 

EPN for EU SCIP Database

The SCIP format was updated to version 6.0. An additional evaluation in the Mass Data Load File for articles has been introduced to avoid the creation of empty articles. The authorization check for articles and notifications has been improved to allow limited access by data source and legal entity.
