This year’s PSX 2024, hosted by the Product Stewardship Society, brought together professionals from across the world. It was our third consecutive year attending these conferences, and we were thrilled to return and engage with the community once again. PSX is an excellent opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas, tackle common challenges, and stay up to date with the latest trends in regulatory compliance and product sustainability.
Addressing Emerging Needs with opesus Solutions
Emerging regulatory challenges and the increasing complexity of global supply chains were discussed in various sessions at PSX 2024 . One of the most prominent themes was the rapid pace of regulatory changes and the need for agile solutions to keep up.
Key industry discussions at PSX 2024 emphasized the importance of evaluating raw material supplier communications, highlighting the need for tools like our Product Collaboration Compliance (PCC) software to enhance collaboration across the supply chain. The concept of "one solution, one place" was also a central topic, perfectly aligning with our Registra product. At PSX 2024, John Falk, the president of opesus America, delivered two presentations that generated significant interest and engagement from attendees.
The first, "PFAS Data Collection in a Dynamic Regulatory Landscape", addressed the evolving regulations surrounding PFAS in both the U.S. and EU. It highlighted the challenges of gathering accurate PFAS-related data and emphasized the importance of supply chain transparency. The concepts behind our Product Compliance Collaboration (PCC) software were showcased as a key solution, helping companies efficiently track chemicals of concern and streamline communication with suppliers and customers.
The second presentation, "SDS Management and Artificial Intelligence: From Chaos to Clarity", explored how AI is transforming the management of Safety Data Sheets (SDS). John demonstrated how AI can automate time-consuming tasks, analyze unstructured data, and enhance SDS data extraction and management, using real world examples.
A Successful Event
In addition to our presentations, we attended several workshops, partner showcases, and customer-led presentations . These sessions provided valuable insights into the latest tools and strategies for navigating regulatory challenges and optimizing product compliance. Our CEO Alex, America Lead John, and Chemical Regulations Expert Maria, represented our company at the booth and presentations, connecting with many professionals and sharing our expertise in chemical compliance and data management solutions.
