The SAP for EHS and Product Compliance Conference 2026, presented by TAC Insights, brought together the EHS and product compliance community in Amsterdam on March 24 –25, 2026. The event once again provided a valuable platform for customers, partners, and SAP experts to exchange ideas, discuss current challenges, and explore practical approaches to product compliance in SAP.
Over two days, the event created space for many valuable conversations around regulatory developments, product compliance processes, and the growing importance of structured, reliable compliance data across global supply chains.
Customer Case Study with Belden: Building a Multichannel Compliance Data Collection Strategy
A key highlight for us was our joint customer presentation with Belden.
In this practical case study, Steffen Adolf (Senior Manager, Global Product Compliance & Laboratory, Belden) and Mark Pfister (Product Manager, opesus) shared how Belden transformed their product compliance processes. The goal was clear: to build a scalable and reliable way to collect supplier and product data.
Like many companies, Belden faced increasing regulatory pressure and rising data demands. Collecting complete and accurate information from a global supplier base was becoming more complex. The session showed how Belden addressed this by introducing a multichannel data collection approach using opesus Product Compliance Collaboration (PCC).
The speakers walked through key steps such as supplier engagement, onboarding, automating data requests, handling exceptions, and improving data quality. They also shared lessons learned during implementation and what worked well in daily operations.
The result: improved response rates, greater transparency, and more efficient compliance reporting.
For anyone working on supplier data collection, the session provided practical, realistic guidance. It showed what it takes to build a process that works not just in theory, but in everyday business.
A Strong Community and Valuable Exchange
This year’s conference brought together 65 companies from 16 countries and featured 20 expert-led sessions.
What stood out was the practical focus. Many sessions were led by customers sharing real experiences. There was also plenty of opportunity to speak directly with SAP experts and peers.
For us, this made the event especially valuable. It was a great opportunity to exchange with participants, better understand their challenges, and share perspectives.
